Do you shoot weddings?

No, I do not offer wedding photography at this time.

Will you travel?

I love to travel! I will drive up to 200 miles* from Monmouth, or fly anywhere*! (*Please contact me for travel rates.)

I have no idea what to wear to my session. Can you help me?

I love styling families for their sessions! There are lots of factors that will determine how I advise you to dress (What are these photos for? Will they be displayed in your home? Which room? What season is it? Do you have a favorite color? Are there colors you hate? Is there a “vibe” you’re going for?), so let’s chat about it!

I’m so nervous! I hate being photographed. What do I do with my hands? Where do I look? How do I pose? I’m going to look so awkward!

Breathe in slowly. Exhale. I’ve got you. You can do this, and it will be painless, I promise. You will absolutely not look awkward. I will direct you during our session and tell you what to do, where to look, whether or not to smile… After it’s all over, you’re going to see your beautiful photographs and wonder why you were ever nervous in the first place. But I get it. I’m a perpetually nervous person. So do like I do. Breathe in slowly. Exhale.

Will you photoshop my acne/bruise/cold sore/yellow teeth?

Yes! Please let me know at the session if there is any light editing you would like done. I can fix most blemishes, but I will not do major alterations to your appearance such as changing the shape of your eyes, reducing body weight, or making it look like your child is smiling (yes, actual clients have asked me to do those things.)

How do I pay you?

You may pay me at the time of the session by cash, check, or Venmo.

How will I receive my photographs?

I will generally complete editing 3-4 weeks after your session, you will receive an email with a link to your private, online gallery with a personalized PIN number which allows you to download your collection. Links are live for 2 weeks from the date you receive your email. Galleries may be reposted for a $15 fee.

Do you offer prints?

No, I do not offer prints, but I can recommend to you some of my favorite online printers!

I do NOT recommend printing your photographs at Shutterfly, Snapfish, or Walmart. They offer the best prices (though not by much), but the quality is often disappointing.

My family is very private/I am not allowed to show photographs of my foster/adopted child yet on social media. May I opt out of being featured on your social media?

I want to respect the privacy and autonomy of each of the wonderful families I photograph. If you do not wish your photographs to appear on my website or social media accounts, please let me know!
