I’m Jenn.
I’m a high-waisted pants-wearing, Netflix-loving, down-to-earth kind of girl. I was born in Maine and lived there for 29 years before moving across the country to Oregon in 2018 with my husband and two boys. I was an instant convert. Oregon is God’s country, I’m positive. I’m a stay-at-home mom and love to take my family to the beach on our days off. There’s not much that makes my momma heart burst more than watching my boys run around in the sand. They look so free.
Photography is how I remember. I am constantly flipping through old photographs of my kids, spouse, parents, and siblings. I relive that moment when my son rode his bicycle for the first time. The moment when my husband (then boyfriend) told me he loved me for the first time. The day my dad dressed up as a clown for my sister’s third birthday. I wish professional family photography had been more popular when I was a child so I’d have even more memories. That’s why I feel photography is such an important investment. It’s an investment in my memories and my family. What better heirloom is there than a treasured photograph of a loved one?
